A new list of jobs from the LAUSD Office arrived today. There are tons of new jobs being offered, including opportunities at the Omni Hotel, Jamba Juice, Whole Foods Market, and even DODGER STADIUM!!!!

Mini Band Camp JUNE 28-29

LA High Welcomes the Class of 2014!
We will be holding the 9th Grade Orientation and Family Fair on Saturday, June 5, from 8:30 AM-12 PM. Students and their families are invited to receive infomation, visit the campus and to purchase uniforms for the new school-year. Food and entertainment will be provided.

Roman Baseball to play Venice HS in the 1st Round of the CIF City Section Playoffs...
After winning the Southern League for the 4th consecutive year, the Los Angeles High School Varsity Baseball Team received a #7 seed and will host the #10 seeded Venice High School Gondoliers at 3pm on Wednesday May 19th. The game will be played at home on Housh Field. Come support your Baseball Program on the Road to Dodger Stadium and the CIF City Section Division II Championship!

Prom 2010 a Success!!
Prom was held Saturday night at the Omni Los Angeles Hotel. Three hundred students and dozens of teachers and administrators attended the event for what turned out to be a lovely evening! Students who attended prom may pick up their party favors beginning Wednesday, May 19 at the student store.

Baby Crow Rescued by AP Jenssen
A nearly full-grown baby crow fell out of its nest in the LAHS bell tower, and flew onto the 2nd floor breezeway between the east and west wings. It later flew down to the courtyard by the Olympic gate, where it was captured by AP Richard Jenssen, AKA "The Bird Whisperer." AP Jenssen released it onto the third floor roof directly below the bell tower a short time later. Click here for pictures.
