To start the new school year off fresh, we will be cleaning up the school and clearing out the clutter. What does this mean? When finished, rooms should be “clutter free” as follows:
Clutter free cabinet tops
Empty cabinets
Clear bookshelves
Floors free of boxes and materials
Walls, doors and ceilings stripped
How do we get there:
1. Dumpsters will arrive at LA High the weekend of June 1, 2007. Teachers can clean/purge rooms and leave unwanted “stuff” in the hallways on Friday evening. Teachers can also come in on Saturday, June 2, 2007 to complete the cleaning/purging process. Building and grounds workers will remove your unwanted materials to the dumpsters. Trash bags are available right now to begin the process. See Mr. Fernandez.
2. Boxes are available for packing materials that you are not currently using. Please box all materials by June 28, 2007 to have your materials moved to your new room. Building and grounds workers will do all the moving for us. Please see Mr. Fernandez for boxes. This includes boxing file cabinet and storage cabinet contents. More information will follow.
3. To assist in the process, each area of campus will have a Clutter Day Coordinator to answer questions about the process.
We need your help for Clutter Day Clean Up! We need more Clutter Day Coordinators. Please see Ms. Hernandez in room 173, Ms. Sender in the Special Ed office or Ms. Headrick([email protected]) for more information or return the bottom of the form by Monday, May 21, 2007.
