Spirit of LA 5k Road Race

All proceeds go to benefit the Los Angeles High School Track and Cross

Country Running Romans

Please note: on this day, until 9:00 am any traffic coming to park at

the school will have to enter via Pico and the gate entrance on the

South end of the school. The main entrance gates on the west side of the

school, facing Rimpau, will be closed. If Saturday school is

functioning on this day, please let the staff know this information.

Additional Notes: There will be a prize for the department, club,

athletic team, or SLC with the most staff, students and parents running.

Parents and staff must pay the entry fee, but we will have free entry

for any LA High Student.

If there is any way we can send out race flyers to the alumni, it would

be extremely helpful. Last year, a few alumni actually complained to

me that they only found out about the race in a random way, and were

upset that it was not publicized through the alumni organization. I told

them I wish it was, but that I was not privy to the alumni mailing

directory.

The first year, we had about 90 paid entries. Last year, about 160

paid entries. Hopefully, we can get over 300 this year.
