"Back in Control" Parent Group

Los Angeles High School (LAHS) wants to provide our Parents with the support and resources beneficial to their child’s academic success. One parent resource LAHS offers is the Back In Control (BIC) group. This FREE group provides parents with the opportunities to discuss various topics with other parents dealing with similar situations with their child. Some of topics discussed will include:

1. Reducing arguments
2. Completing chores
3. Improving school behavior

These topics will be discussed during an eight week group beginning on April 14, 2009-June 2, 2009. The group will meet on Tuesdays from 8:30am-10:30am in Harrison Hall. Parents will be able to bring up questions or concerns to the group regarding their child’s behavior and explore alternative solutions.
