The School Site Council has purview over categorical funds and is responsible for the Single Plan for Student Achievement which guides our efforts here at LA High. That plan is available here http://www.lahigh.org/apps/pages/index.jsp?uREC_ID=42156&type=d&rn=4932188

The School Site Council maintains records for public viewing and comment at http://schoolsitecouncil.wordpress.com/ . The Council meets once a month from 4 30pm to 6pm. There will be elections on June 30th and July 1st for positions in the School Site Council.

The positions are:   1-   Teacher Position,  3-   Teacher Position Alternates,  1-   Out of the classroom representative,  1-   Out of the classroom representative Alternate,  1-   Student Representative for C Track,  1-    Student Representative Alternate for B Track,  1-    Student Representative Alternate for A Track,  1-    New Parent Representative,  3-    Parent Representative Alternates.

Please talk to Parents, Homerooms and other classes re this opportunity for leadership and governance.

Nominations are open until June 25th.
