The mission of JROTC is to motivate young people to be better citizens.

HISTORY

JROTC has been at Los Angeles High School since 1919.

COURSE OVERVIEW

The program teaches high school students the value of citizenship, leadership, civics, geography and global awareness, as well as language arts, life skills and U.S. History. The Cadets will also learn service to the community, personal responsibility, and a sense of accomplishment, while instilling in them self-esteem, teamwork, and self-discipline. Students will receive 5 credits PE per semester. For best results, students should enter the program during 9th grade year and stay all four years.
