AP United States History

Welcome to Advanced Placement U.S. History course. This course is designed to provide students with analytic skills and factual knowledge necessary to deal critically with problems and materials in U.S. History. This program prepares students for immediate and advanced college courses by making demands upon them equivalent to those made by full-year introductory college courses. Students are expected to take the A.P. United States History exam in May. By signing up for this course, students accept this responsibility. This course is intended to be rigorous and students are expected to complete assignments in a timely manner in order to be prepared for class. Passing the A.P. Exam in May could result in receiving college credits.
